55. Historikertag 2025

Mit Vorfreude sehen der Verband der Historiker und Historikerinnen Deutschlands (VHD) und das Ortskomitee dem nächsten Historikertag entgegen, der vom 16. bis 19. September 2025 in Bonn stattfinden wird. Der Historikertag ist das größte Podium der deutschsprachigen Geschichtswissenschaft. In ihm spiegelt sich die aktuelle historische Forschung in ihrer ganzen Vielfalt und internationalen Vernetzung wider. Themenschwerpunkt im kommenden Jahr ist Dynamiken der Macht. Ein Drittel der Sektionen soll diesem Leitthema gewidmet sein. Die übrigen Sektionen sind in der Wahl der Themenvorschläge frei. Sektionsvorschläge können ab sofort eingereicht werden; die Einreichungsfrist endet am 30. September 2024. Der Historikertag wird wie in Leipzig 2023 als Präsenzveranstaltung stattfinden.

The Association of German Historians (VHD) and the local hosting committee are looking forward to the next Historians’ Day, which will take place in Bonn from September 15 to September 19, 2025. The Historians’ Day is the largest platform of the German-speaking historical profession. It reflects the current state of research in its full diversity and international networks. The thematic focus of next year’s meeting is Dynamics of Power. A third of the sessions should be dedicated to this guiding theme. The rest of the session applicants are free to propose their own themes. Session proposals can be submitted from now until the application deadline of September 30, 2024. As was the case in Leipzig in 2023, the Historians’ Day will take place in-person.
